The Salvation Army is viewed around the world with a high level of trust because of our ability to deliver quality services with a minimum level of administration overhead, which is currently around 10% depending on the project. This means that a staggering 90% of your donation goes directly to those in need.

Your donation helps The Salvation Army assist those who need help the most. Your donation to The Salvation Army will be used within Taiwan (unless you specify otherwise). All financial donations are fully tax deductible.

Household Goods

If you have spent time overseas, you may be familiar with Salvation Army Thrift stores, where people donate their usable, but unwanted household goods and clothing to the Salvation Army. These are then given to clients in need or sold to those that cannot afford new products. The proceeds then are used to fund some of our programs. Unfortunately we currently do not run these stores in Taiwan and are unable to accept this kind of donation. If there is a need for this kind of appeal we will post it on this website.

Corporate support

Will your organisation join us in a win-win partnership?

The relationship between corporate and community organisations, The Salvation Army and the community in need is one of the great success stories in the history of charitable giving.

The support we receive from companies and organisations has an immediate effect on those who are hungry, homeless, and facing crisis or other needs. The donations that are generated from these partnerships enable The Salvation Army to plan and further develop our community support and sometimes to initiate new services not previously possible because of a lack of sustainable funding. Many of these donors build a long and fruitful partnership over many years that enables a significant impact on the group of people being supported read more…
